01 Why we went back
Most design content shows a project at its most staged — the week after handover, before a single cushion has been moved out of place. That’s not how anyone actually lives. So instead of another handover-day shoot, we returned to this Sobha Windsor home a full year in, with the family’s daily routines, their guests, their evenings, all fully in motion around the furniture. The question we wanted answered wasn’t “does it still look good,” but the harder one: does the room still work the way it was designed to?
This is also the honest answer to a question we hear constantly during the design phase, before a client has committed to anything: will my home actually look like the render? A year-later comparison is the clearest way we know to show that, rather than just claim it.
02 What the render promised
